Story Invention Game Cards
Remember that cool Story Invention Game I play in my show? Well, here are Game Trading Cards that you can use when you play the game at home or in the classroom.
They’re in PDF form, so just print them on both sides of the paper (cardstock is best), and then cut them out with scissors. Print out 1 copy of the card front document, turn the paper over, and print out 5 copies of the card back document. Cut out the cards and get ready to play.
Play the Game:
To play the game, you need 3 of each of the 6 cards: [1] Noun (Person), [2] Noun (Place), [3] Noun (Thing), [4] Verb, [5] Adjective, and [6] Adverb. There are two extra blank cards ’cause I had the room.
Now it’s time to brainstorm. Quickly! Don’t think, just write down a word that matches the part of speech on the card. Once you have all of the cards filled out, you’re ready to combine them to make a story!
Back of cards: Back
Front of cards: Collect a set from each story. I’ll keep adding sets as I make more of them.
Random cool balloon sculptures: Bluebird
The Princess’ Return to Lillerie Tawn: [Coming Soon]
Stinky Alvin: [Coming Soon]
Dr. Balloonenstein: [Coming Soon]
Daisy Mae Western Crime Solver [Coming Soon]
Dr. Electric and the Weather Machine [Coming Soon]
